In the Mobile app:1
To initiate your billing dispute:
- Log in to the Mobile app and select the account with the transaction you'd like to dispute.
- Select the transaction, then tap Dispute Transaction.
- Review transaction information and tap Proceed.
- Select the reason for the dispute and answer all of the on-screen questions. Tap Submit Dispute when finished — you'll receive confirmation.
Note: Most credit or debit card transactions are eligible for the dispute process online. Some eligibility may vary due to complexity of the type of dispute. Business accounts can only file claims online for debit card transactions at this time.
To view the status of your dispute:
- Log in to the Mobile app and open the Menu.
- Scroll down to the Help & Support section.
- Select View My Claim.
- Set up real-time text and alert notifications by reviewing your alert settings. You can do this by tapping View/Change.
Note: Most claim statuses can be tracked through online and mobile banking. Some eligibility may vary. Business account claims aren't viewable.

From your computer:

- From the Accounts Overview page in the Activity Center, click Messages then go to Message Center.
- Disputes will display in the Claims Messages section of the Message Center.
- The dispute status is listed in the Current Status column.
- Select the Account and Claim ID to view additional details of the dispute.
- Set up real-time text and alert notifications by reviewing your alert settings. You can do this by selecting Profile & Settings, then Alert Settings.
