Eligibility requirements:

To qualify for Preferred Rewards,¹ you must have an active, eligible Bank of America personal checking account and three-month combined average daily balance of $20,000 or more in qualifying Bank of America deposit accounts and/or Merrill® Investment accounts. Learn more about Preferred Rewards.

Once you've met these requirements, you must then take action to enroll and activate your benefits.

In the Mobile app:²

1. Log in to the Mobile app and select My Rewards from the Account page.
2. Tap on the Preferred Rewards – Activate tile.
3. You'll receive a “Congratulations” message confirming enrollment and Preferred Rewards tier.
   
   Note: After you enroll and activate, you can visit My Rewards to see all your benefits in one place.

In Online Banking:

1. Log in to Online Banking, find You qualify for Preferred Rewards in the upper right-hand corner and click Learn more.
2. Select Activate.
3. You'll receive a “Congratulations” message confirming enrollment and Preferred Rewards tier.
   
   Note: After you enroll and activate, you can select Rewards & Deals to see all your benefits in one place.
