Utilize features such as safe drop, sales restrictions based on minimum age, and the ability to set up commissions and reporting.

With the Retail Solution, you’ll know exactly what you have on hand for items tracked. Whenever items are sold or returned, the system will track the quantity accordingly. Adjustments to total quantity can also be made manually at any time to suit your individual needs. The Retail Solution makes inventory management easier, enabling you to:

  • Classify your inventory items with up to six subcategories per category. For shoe category, subcategories could be selected by type of shoe such as a sneaker or sandal, then the brand and size.
  • Combine individual items to create a “kit”. For example, combine a jersey, shorts and shoes for a uniform kit for one price. Automatically detract from the inventory count of the individual items that make up the kit when sold.
  • Support up to 50,000 inventory items. (Upload is limited to 999 items at a time).
  • Track and manage vendors.
  • Manage items by department and categories.
  • Track inventory (quantity on hand and cost).
  • Support item variations.
  • Create modifier groups (with an option to upcharge).

Restrict the sale of items from the inventory to help ensure that the sales of certain items comply with laws in a country or region. Restrictions prohibit the sale of an item at the point-of-sale, if the specified restriction is not met.

The restriction types that are available for an item, include:

Age Verification – Merchants may need to restrict the age of the consumer buying an item. For example, when restricting the age of a consumer to 21 years or older for buying alcohol. This ensures the sale of that item complies with the laws in a country or region.

Purchase Quantity – Merchants may decide to restrict the quantity of a product that a consumer can purchase. For example, a game store may want to restrict the number of new gaming consoles a consumer can buy.

Item Return – Merchants can impose restrictions on the return policy for an item. For example, they can dictate that final sale items are non-refundable.

Use Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) and Price Look-Up codes (PLU) to sell items on the point-of-sale device without having to scan the items. Often, SKUs and PLUs are used when it’s difficult to attach a barcode to the item, such as ready to order drinks, fruit, and vegetables.
