Supergraphic: Overdrafts can happen
In today’s on-the-go world, overdrafts can happen.
Supergraphic: It can be tough to keep track of recurring payments
You may have multiple recurring monthly payments, and it’s easy to lose track of the dates they’re all scheduled to post. Or perhaps you write a check, and the recipient doesn’t cash it for several days.
Whatever the case, if you have insufficient funds, Bank of America may make the payment and overdraw your account, or we may return the payment unpaid.

There are three ways Bank of America can help you prevent these fees now and in the future.

The first is to use our mobile banking app or online banking to check your balance regularly.
You can then set up alerts that notify you if your balance goes below an amount you choose, when certain kinds of payments are processing, or when a direct deposit is credited to your account.

The second way you can help cover your payments and purchases- and help to avoid overdraft fees- is by enrolling in Balance Connect™ for overdraft protection,
