Welcome to the Hometown Hopefuls® Family Center.

Our Hometown Hopefuls® Program honors the U.S. Olympic athletes competing in Beijing and the people who helped them get there.

Supporting U.S. Hopefuls and Their Families in Beijing.

Through the Hometown Hopefuls® program, qualified U.S. Olympic athletes – and the family and friends who have made their Olympic journey possible – have access to exclusive discounted accommodations and the Hometown Hopefuls Family Center. This makes their stay in Beijing more affordable and comfortable during the two weeks of Olympic competition. The program provides U.S. Olympic athletes and their supporters with access to the Bank of America Hometown Hopefuls Family Center – a place to get away from the crowds and relax.  Located in the heart of Beijing, China, the Family Center is open everyday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. during the 2008 Olympic Summer Games, offering America’s athletes and their families many of the comforts of home:

  • Complimentary lunch, dinner, snacks, and drinks
  • Wide-screen TVs with closed-circuit coverage of Olympic competition
  • One free event ticket per registered guest
  • Internet Lounge to stay in touch with loved ones back home
